Well, as we’ve come to expect from the Swiss giant, Jura has been perfecting their already superior Aroma+ Grinder. What can we expect to see in terms of this development in the J95?

It goes without saying that the stock-standard stand-out features we have come to know and love, still remain. Fine Foam Froth technology, IPBAS (Intelligent Pr-Brew Aroma System) and 5 adjustable coffee strengths have come to feature in this machine again.

Housing one bean hopper at capacity with 250g of beans, the 2.1 litre water tank is perfectly proportionate and makes this little beast the perfect fit for the modernist who appreciates quality coffee in their home at all times.

So, what’s the downside? There is always at least one shortfall on any kind of coffee machine, and this is no exception. The J95 is limited in the fact that is only has a single thermoblock – meaning you are only able to either coffee or milk at one time. This might seem insignificant, but to some users this is a downside. In the bigger picture, home users are generally speaking in no huge rush, so the approximate ten second delay between dispensing coffee and milk froth may be easily forgotten.

Coming in at $3 400.00, this is a real investment piece for your home space. Considering how feature-filled this machine is, and the weight of the brand name it carries, it might well be an asset into which you are willing to invest.

Within this price range, however (and in the interest of transparency and diplomacy) – you should know that it is possible to have – for +/- $2 000.00 more, a Jura GIGA range, or alternatively a Jura Z9. However, neither of these machine measure up to the aesthetic appeal of the J95 – and the decision really is yours.
